Every 15 Minutes – Etna, CA – 2010
“EVERY 15 MINUTES” is a short documentary film about a two-day program staged in Etna, CA that focuses on teaching high school students about the consequences of drinking & driving. The Every 15 Minutes program challenges them to think about alcohol, driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions. On day one, the students witness the re-creation of a drunk driving accident, complete with crashed cars and a full-scale emergency response. Day two focuses on the impact that their decisions would have on family and friends by presenting a mock-funeral in which students hear stories from actual victims of drunk driving accidents and listen to what their loved ones would have to say in the event of their death.
